Accounts Administrator/Analyst – Altrincham – Paying £20k + 25 days holiday – Mix of home/office working

Based in Altrincham, this large PLC is seeking an Accounts Administrator/Analyst to join an existing talented Treasury team. The role will report into the Senior Treasury Analyst, based in the Head Office Group Function. This newly created role will evolve and develop over time to incorporate further responsibilities and would ideally suit someone wanting to start their Accounting career. This is a unique and amazing opportunity for either a Finance Graduate or someone currently studying that would like more exposure in a Finance related role. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Cash and Bank account management including the opening and closing of bank accounts with various banking partners
  • Managing operational queries
  • Provide general administrative support to finance colleagues across the UK sites
  • Participate in daily cash management and reporting of treasury transactions
  • General administrative duties
  • Full clerical support to Senior Management


  • Prior experience of working within a finance team would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent administrative skills required
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to solve problems
  • Can work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Possess excellent communication skills – written and oral
  • Possess excellent IT skills
  • This role would suit someone looking to take a step into a Finance team from an administrative background
  • Full training and support in all aspects of Treasury will be available
