This large fast-paced and rapidly growing organisation is seeking a number of actively studying part qualified Accountants with superb Excel skills, to fill a number of newly-created vacancies as Assistant Commercial Finance Analysts within their developing Commercial Finance team

THE JOB

The roles are Assistant Commercial Finance Analysts to provide key support within the commercial finance team maintaining key responsibility for production commercial reporting and output for senior and operational management. The role will act as a point of contact for Operational and Senior Management.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Assist with producing daily/weekly and monthly reporting on KPIs across your responsible area, and ensure timely reporting to senior management and operations
  • Ensure accuracy of reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Work closely with the operations team to provide key support and analysis on business KPIs
  • Demonstrate a strong commercial understanding of core business KPIs and articulate how to drive these
  • Co-ordinate weekly and monthly meetings, recording weekly actions.
  • Provide key support to the commercial analyst and commercial finance manager
  • Provide support in the month-end review to ensure accuracy of P & L reporting
  • Provide the first draft of quarterly and annual budgets and provide commentary between the actual and budget variance
  • Provide input into the monthly board pack presentation
  • Perform ROI analysis on all investments

THE PERSON

You will be part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with experience of working in an Accounting function. You will be naturally commercially-minded with excellent communication skills to enable you to liaise with senior operational stakeholders. Knowledge of Word and Excel is essential, and knowledge of SAP would be advantageous but not essential.
