AUDIT SEMI SENIOR- EAST LANCASHIRE - £20,000k-£25,000k + EXCELLENT BENEFITS
Hybrid role with both office and home working

THE FIRM:

Based across the Northwest, our client is an award-winning, large independent practice that is seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to become part of their tax team in Lancashire. Working as part of a large team, this firm can offer an exciting and varied role to an enthusiastic and ambitious audit professional.

THE JOB:

As Audit Semi Senior you will report to the Audit Manager and Partners. As part of the Audit, Accounting and Advisory team you will be expected to provide an excellent service to the firms clients in accordance with the firms values, procedures, prevailing legislation and good professional practice so as to meet or exceed clients expectations and needs.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts preparation for medium / large companies and clients.
  • Completing corporation tax computations.
  • To work on audit assignments (this will be 70-80% of the role), as part of a team, both in the firms offices and at client premises which may, occasionally, include working away from home.
  • To be involved in the team working on special corporate assignments, such as grant claims, forecasting and interim FD roles.  

THE PERSON

The ideal applicant will already be AAT qualified and or working towards the ACA or ACCA qualification. You will need to have previous experience of working in an accountancy practice and strong accounts preparation and audit experience. Excellent communication skills and organisation skills are essential along with the desire to achieve your professional qualification.
