Based across the Northwest, our client is an award-winning, large independent practice that is seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to become part of their Cloud Accounting team in Lancashire. Working as part of a large team, this firm can offer an exciting and varied role to an enthusiastic and ambitious accountancy professional.


Working as part of the Cloud Accounting team you will be expected to provide an excellent service to clients in accordance with the firm’s values, procedures, prevailing legislation, and good professional practice to meet or exceed clients’ expectations and requirements.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Bookkeeping on a monthly/quarterly basis using a variety of cloud-based software including Xero and QuickBooks
  • The completion of VAT returns and EC Sales listings
  • Supporting the Cloud Manager to deliver projects and to assist clients.
  • The preparation of periodic management accounts both in-house and on site
  • The preparation of year end accounts
  • The preparation of corporate tax returns including analysis of tax sensitive nominals


The successful applicant will be part qualified and actively studying AAT, ACA or ACCA and must have previously worked in a professional practice for several years. You will need to be proficient in using cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks and you must have previous experience in providing a bookkeeping service via cloud accounting. Excellent communication skills and organisation skills are essential along with the desire to achieve your professional qualification.
