This fast-growing leading Retail organisation in Lancashire is recruiting for a Qualified (or near Qualified) Financial Analyst to join their growing team. Along with their phenomenal UK expansion, they are pushing into other European markets and are looking for fluent French Speaking Finance Analysts from Part to Newly qualified level. You will be responsible for providing high quality planning and performance analysis across the French Markets and be involved in shaping the strategic direction of a business. You will proactively look at ways to improve the commercial reporting and implement strategies to improve profitability. You will also act as a point of contact for Senior Stakeholders in France and UK as well as working cross-functionally with the Group Shared Services team. This is an exciting role that includes commercial decision-making, financial insight, and budgeting and forecasting.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Drive daily/weekly/monthly reporting on KPIs and ensure timely reporting to senior management and operations
  • Provide data driven insights to Senior Stakeholders, Operations & Senior Management
  • Ensuring consistency of reporting between operational teams and the senior management team
  • Contribute to the quarterly and annual budgeting process including variance analysis
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand business performance trends and present key insights for business strategic projects
  • Understanding margin performance and identifying clearly defined improvement areas
  • Update senior management and key stakeholders on all projects, initiatives & actions, and input into the weekly country initiatives update


We are looking for an experienced, commercially-focused finance analyst, a self-starter with a results-driven approach towards problem solving. You will work in a matrix environment so must be able to communicate effectively to multiple high level stakeholders within the group.

Candidates must have extensive knowledge of Excel and keen to become a true finance business partner. It is essential candidates have experience in a financial or analytical role and are actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA or have already qualified.  

Candidates must be fluent in both English and French.
